Cultural & Local Life

If you are into local culture Sihanoukville and its nearby region is really a great place to start. You will find local markets such as Phsar Leu Market where fresh produce, seafood, and Cambodian snacks are available albeit in a chaotic way usually. Then you will probably want to hop to Wat Leu Pagoda, a temple on a hill with views over the town and sea. And finally you will definitely not want to leave without stepping in one of the few fishing villages such as Veal Rinh and smaller coastal hamlets to take a glimpse of everyday life.
